HillarsPhotos seeks to display enjoyable images in a wide variety of photographic subjects, taken with digital cameras. In time I may add earlier, film based images to the galleries, both black & white, and color.

Much of this work was done with a 2 or 3 megapixel pocket camera operated at only one third of one megapixel. Over time I've progressed and "graduated" to digital SLRs and non-reflex digital viewfinder ILCs, with up to 24 megapixels. Lens-wise I use focal lengths on full 35mm frame digicams ranging from 16mm fish eye to 500 mm mirror lens, plus photos through telescopes and microscopes, including a custom built "macro-microscope" using a telephoto lens with a microscope objective on its filter ring, mounted on the stand of an inverted-microscope. i look forward to adding lots of more recent work done with this later equipment.

My wish is that you and others who view my photographs will derive as much pleasure as I did in creating them.
